Key Responsibilities
- • Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly, professional, and positive first impression.
- • Handle customer interactions politely and professionally at all times.
- • Provide excellent guest service by understanding customer needs and ensuring prompt assistance.
- • Take dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders accurately and efficiently.
- • Explain menu items, offers, and recommendations clearly to guests when required.
- • Act as a host by greeting, guiding, and seating guests properly whenever needed.
- • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving basic guest concerns quickly and escalating serious complaints to the supervisor or manager.
- • Process bills and handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- • Maintain accuracy in cash handling, billing, receipt issuance, and change returns.
- • Keep the cashier/host counter neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
- • Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
- • Maintain cleanliness of dining tables by clearing, wiping, and resetting them quickly for the next guests.
- • Ensure all table surfaces, counters, service stations, and other guest-contact surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- • Monitor and maintain washroom cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation as per company standards.
- • Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards during every shift.
- • Support opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and station readiness.
- • Work as a team player and assist in overall restaurant operations as assigned by management.
