We are looking for a data-driven and technically skilled Email Marketing Specialist-Sales to drive outbound pipeline and revenue growth. You will own and optimize outbound email systems, focusing on deliverability, engagement, and conversion of prospects into qualified opportunities.
Your primary focus will be improving inbox placement, response rates and outbound funnel performance to generate qualified leads and support sales pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute outbound email campaigns targeting cold and warm prospects.
- Build and optimize multi-step email sequences for lead generation and follow-ups.
- Write personalized, conversion-focused copy to drive replies and meetings.
- Align messaging with ICPs, buyer personas, and sales goals.
- Collaborate with sales teams to support pipeline growth.
Deliverability & Technical Operations
- Own end-to-end email deliverability and inbox placement strategy.
- Manage IP warming, sender reputation, and domain health for outbound infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues related to spam filtering, throttling, and blocklists.
- Maintain email list hygiene through segmentation and regular database cleaning.
- Implement authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to improve sender credibility.
Lead Generation & Optimization
- Segment prospect lists based on firmographics, behavior, and engagement signals.
- Track and optimize key metrics including open rates, reply rates, meetings booked, and conversions.
- Continuously refine email sequences to improve lead qualification and pipeline contribution.
- Integrate email campaigns with CRM systems for accurate tracking and follow-ups.
Analytics & Reporting
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, messaging, CTAs, and cadence to maximize response rates.
- Analyze campaign performance and its impact on pipeline generation and revenue.
- Report on key sales metrics such as SQLs, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
- Use insights to optimize outreach strategies and improve ROI.
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of experience in email marketing, outbound marketing, or sales support roles.
- Strong understanding of email deliverability, spam filters, and sender reputation.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar tools.
- Strong copywriting skills with a focus on sales-driven messaging.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management workflows.
Good to Have:
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email customization.
- Experience with SMTP servers, APIs, or webhook-based integrations.
- Understanding of outbound tools and sequencing platforms.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and sales dashboards.
