Job Summary
The Hot Food Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Hot Food Department, ensuring high-quality food production, food safety compliance, customer satisfaction, sales growth, and effective team management. The supervisor ensures that all products are prepared, displayed, and served according to company standards while minimizing wastage and maximizing profitability.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Supervise daily hot food production and counter operations.
- Ensure timely preparation and availability of all menu items.
- Monitor food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and company standards.
- Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams for stock requirements.
Sales & Customer Service
- Achieve departmental sales targets and KPIs.
- Promote high-selling and seasonal products.
- Ensure excellent customer service and quick resolution of customer complaints.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
Inventory Control
- Monitor stock levels and place requisitions on time.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO stock rotation.
- Conduct daily stock checks and monthly inventories.
- Control food wastage, shrinkage, and expired products.
- Maintain accurate production and stock records.
Team Management
- Supervise and lead Hot Food staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and allocate work responsibilities.
- Train employees on food preparation, hygiene, and customer service.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and productivity of staff.
Food Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Monitor cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and serving areas.
- Ensure staff follow personal hygiene and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular quality and temperature checks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reporting
- Prepare daily sales and production reports.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and profitability.
- Report operational issues to management.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend improvements.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
