About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition for our dedicated software developer resourcing (staff augmentation) services. You will identify, pursue, and close B2B contracts with companies in India looking to scale their tech teams with our developers on a dedicated, contract basis. This is a hunting role focused on outbound lead generation, relationship building, and contract closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads through outbound prospecting (cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other channels) targeting companies that need dedicated software developers on a contract/staff augmentation basis.
- Identify and qualify B2B opportunities within India, with potential to expand into international markets as the role grows.
- Understand client hiring needs (tech stack, team size, engagement duration, budget) and map them to available developer resources/profiles.
- Pitch the company’s staff augmentation/dedicated resourcing model to CXOs, HR heads, engineering managers, and procurement teams.
- Negotiate commercial terms, rate cards, and contract structures (MSA, SOW) for dedicated resource engagements.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery calls, proposal/pitch creation, negotiation, and closure.
- Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline in HubSpot CRM and report on pipeline status, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with the recruitment/delivery team to align on developer availability, skill sets, and bench strength.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and account expansion (upselling additional developer seats).
- Stay current on hiring trends, competitor offerings, and market rates in the IT staffing/staff augmentation space.
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for leads generated, contracts closed, and revenue.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of B2B sales/business development experience, preferably in IT staffing, staff augmentation, software development services, or technology resourcing.
- Proven track record of closing B2B contracts and meeting sales targets.
- Strong understanding of software development roles/tech stacks (e.g., frontend, backend, full-stack, DevOps, AI/ML, Data Science) to effectively position developer profiles to clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with outbound lead generation tools and techniques (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM (or similar CRM tools).
- Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
Good to Have
- Existing network of HR/talent acquisition or engineering leadership contacts in India.
- Prior experience selling dedicated/remote developer teams or IT staffing solutions.
- Exposure to or experience selling into international markets (US, UK, Europe, etc.) — not mandatory from day 1, but a strong plus.
Pay: ₹11,531.75 - ₹65,000.00 per month
