Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer with a background in Interior Design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analysing project specifications, and supporting the project team in budget preparation and cost control for interior fit-out and design-build projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review architectural drawings, design specifications, and tender documents for interior design and fit-out projects.
· Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontracted services.
· Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project teams to gather accurate cost information.
· Evaluate and negotiate prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
· Provide value engineering solutions to maintain budget without compromising quality or design intent.
· Prepare and submit competitive tender and quotation documents within deadlines.
· Track project costs and report any variations or deviations from budget.
· Assist in post-tender clarifications, cost comparisons, and project handovers.
· Maintain and update a database of material prices, suppliers, and labor rates.
· Participate in site visits and client meetings when required.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
· Proven experience (4-8 years) in estimation within the interior design or fit-out industry.
· Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, MEP coordination, and construction methods related to interior projects.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD.
· Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience working with high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
· Familiarity with local market rates, suppliers, and vendors.
· Project management exposure is a plus
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹18,500.00 per month
