Overview
We’re looking for Test Analyst professionals who are driven and passionate about Testing and Quality, who can perform design, preparation and execution of testing across an enterprise scale application landscape. A strong background in super, insurance and financial systems will be highly advantageous.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Drive quality across enterprise-scale application landscapes by ensuring robust test design, preparation, and execution.
- Support business objectives by ensuring systems meet functionality, data integrity, and performance expectations.
Operational Management
- Undertake test planning, test design, and execution across the testing lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business requirements and defined quality standards.
- Define testing scope, estimate effort and timelines, and determine environment requirements to support effective test execution.
- Review business requirements, technical specifications, and solution designs to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Execute testing across multiple phases, including Functional, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression testing.
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios, ensuring traceability to requirements.
- Perform API, web services, and microservices testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
- Execute test automation using tools like Selenium, where applicable.
- Raise, manage, and track defects through to closure within defined timelines to minimize delivery impact.
- Ensure system functionality, data integrity, and performance meet the defined quality benchmarks.
- Provide regular status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional and global teams, ensuring alignment throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality expectations.
People Leadership

Governance & Risk
- Adhere to defined testing processes and standards within the Testing Practice Framework.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements, highlighting risks proactively.
Experience & Personal Attributes
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing across multiple test phases and perform end-to-end testing across multiple phases including:
- Functional Testing
- System & System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Experience in Superannuation/Insurance/BFSI/Wealth management highly desirable
- Working experience in IC, Eplan, OSCAR or similar applications is preferable
- Certification in Domain/Testing/Delivery methodology like ISTQB, Agile, ASFA highly desirable
- Experience in API / Web services / Microservice testing
- Experience in automation tools such as Selenium or SOAP UI or Postman
