Position: New Product Development (NPD) Engineer
Location: Nashik
Qualification: BE Mechanical / Plastic Engineering
Experience: 7–8 Years
Salary: ₹8 – ₹12 LPA
Job Summary
The NPD Engineer will be responsible for managing complete new product development activities from customer enquiry to production launch while ensuring timely execution, quality compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete New Product Development projects.
- Coordinate with customers during project execution.
- Review customer drawings and specifications.
- Prepare APQP documentation.
- Coordinate PPAP submissions.
- Develop manufacturing processes for new products.
- Plan prototype and trial production.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with Design, Production and Quality departments.
- Conduct feasibility studies.
- Resolve development-related technical issues.
- Prepare project reports and presentations.
- Ensure successful product launch.
- Support customer audits.
- Implement engineering changes.
- Participate in cost reduction projects.
- Improve product quality and manufacturability.
- Maintain project documentation.
