Job Summary The Staff TechOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of production systems. The role involves managing infrastructure, monitoring environments, responding to incidents, automating operational tasks, supporting deployments, and maintaining security, backups, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Linux/Windows Servers, Cloud Services, Middleware Platforms, and Production Environments.
Configure and support IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) components, including: o Business Automation Workflow (BAW) o Operational Decision Manager (ODM) o FileNet Content Manager o Business Automation Navigator and associated services
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Integration Flows, Messaging Platforms, API Gateways, Workflow Processing, Middleware Services, and Enterprise Application Integrations.
Monitor Infrastructure, Cloud, Virtualization, Networking, Storage, and Container Platforms to ensure System Availability, Performance, Scalability, and Operational Stability.
Implement and maintain Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting Solutions to proactively identify, prevent, and resolve incidents and performance issues.
Perform Incident Management activities, including Troubleshooting, Escalation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Post-Incident Reviews, and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Automate operational and administrative tasks using Scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Automation Tools.
Collaborate with Development, QA, Support, Infrastructure, Security, and Network Teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 Support for complex production, middleware, infrastructure, and integration-related issues.
Maintain Technical Documentation, Runbooks, SOPs, Knowledge Base Articles, and Incident Records. Required Skills & Experience:
4–8 years of relevant experience in TechOps, Production Support, Platform Operations, or a similar role. Strong experience with Linux/Windows Server Administration. Hands-on experience with CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Experience managing configuration as code using YAML and Helm.
Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience analyzing JVM Dumps and troubleshooting Java-based Applications.
Strong experience supporting IBM Cloud Paks, including CP4BA, CP4I, and CP4D.
Experience with Monitoring and Observability Tools.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and Load Balancers.
Knowledge of Security Best Practices, IAM, Secrets Management, and Compliance Standards.
Experience managing Highly Available, Scalable, and Performance-Optimized Production Environments. Strong Troubleshooting, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
Experience with Backups, Disaster Recovery (DR), and System Resilience Strategies.
Understanding of SLA, SLO, SI, and Service Reliability Practices.
Good Communication Skills and proficiency in English (Read & Write).
