Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Saree Procurement Manager to manage the sourcing and purchasing of all varieties of sarees from across India. The candidate should have strong knowledge of the Indian textile market, vendor management skills, and the ability to negotiate prices and ensure timely procurement. Knowledge of Hindi is mandatory to communicate effectively with suppliers from different states.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure all varieties of sarees from major textile markets across India.
- Identify and develop new vendors, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
- Travel extensively to sourcing locations such as:
- Surat
- Varanasi
- Kolkata
- Jaipur
- Kanchipuram
- Source silk, cotton, designer, bridal, linen, printed, handloom, and ethnic sarees.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor market trends, new designs, and seasonal collections.
- Ensure product quality and maintain procurement standards.
- Coordinate with merchandising, sales, and inventory teams.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase orders, and procurement reports.
- Manage stock planning and replenishment requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in saree procurement or textile purchasing.
- Strong knowledge of Indian saree markets and textile hubs.
- Hindi language proficiency is mandatory.
- Ability to travel frequently across India.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement documentation.

- Knowledge of fabric quality, weaving techniques, and current fashion trends.
- Existing supplier network across India.
- Cost analysis and inventory planning skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
Salary
- Based on experience and industry standards.
- Travel allowance, incentives, and other benefits may be provided.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
