Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Electricians with 1-10 years of experience in the shipbuilding industry to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on ships and marine vessels. The role involves working with power distribution, lighting, control panels, and communication systems to ensure the vessel's electrical systems meet safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on ships, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform wiring, cabling, and conduit installation per industry standards and safety regulations.
- Test and inspect electrical systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Work on navigation, communication, and automation systems in compliance with maritime regulations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure all electrical equipment operates efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineers, welders, and mechanical teams during vessel construction and repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to maritime industry regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 1-10 years of experience in shipbuilding or marine electrical work.
- Education: Diploma, ITI, or Certification in Electrical Engineering or Marine Electrical Systems (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, high/low voltage systems, and automation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
