seeking a high-calibre Plant Head & Administrator to spearhead our manufacturing operations. This dual-responsibility role requires a strategic leader who can manage the technical complexities of precast concrete production while ensuring seamless administrative and facility operations. You will be responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and fostering a disciplined, productive work environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Production & Operations Management Manufacturing Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end production of lightweight concrete dry walls and panels, ensuring daily targets are met without compromising quality. Process Optimization: Implement Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, optimize raw material consumption, and improve cycle times. Maintenance Oversight: Supervise the Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for heavy machinery, Molds, and mixing equipment to minimize downtime. Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with procurement to ensure a steady inflow of cement, aggregates, and lightweight additives. 2. Quality Assurance & Compliance Quality Control: Ensure all finished panels meet structural integrity, weight specifications, and fire-rating standards.
Safety Standards: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols on the shop floor to maintain a zero-accident workplace. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the plant operates in accordance with local industrial laws, environmental regulations, and labour codes. 3. Administrative & Strategic Leadership Facility Management: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the plant premises, including security, housekeeping, and utility management. HR & Workforce Management: Manage labour relations, shift scheduling, and performance appraisals for both technical staff and on-contract labour. Cost Control: Monitor and manage the operational budget (OPEX), focusing on reducing overheads and improving the bottom line. Reporting: Provide detailed weekly and monthly reports to the Board of Directors regarding production metrics, inventory levels, and administrative hurdles. Candidate Profile Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with MBA having legal knowledge as well. Operations or General Management is highly preferred. Experience: 8–15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in Precast Concrete, Building Materials, or Construction Chemicals is mandatory. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of concrete mix designs, curing processes, and automated panel production lines.
