We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer - Solar to support our growth on a PAN India basis. You will initially take a lead on multiple solar projects, with a view that the role will grow into leading a team of solar and storage experts.
e. Your Role:
i. Work with customers as the main client interface and attend client meetings with lenders and developers as needed.
ii. Manage high-profile Independent Engineering and Technical Advisory projects for project financing, sales, and acquisitions primarily for solar projects and portfolios.
iii. Perform site visits during construction and operation and perform monthly construction monitoring site visits to review progress against technical specifications
iv. Support and compile and complete IE and TA reports and summarize key results and conclusions.
v. Prepare communication plans and related project status reports. Facilitate and lead regular status meetings with the internal project team, sponsors, and stakeholders.
vi. Work with internal resources, associate project managers, project managers, as well as sub-consultants. Ensure project deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget.
vii. To plan utility-scale solar projects in the high megawatt range (Fixed, Tracker, Floating & AgriPV)
viii. Will be responsible for the network connection in an international environment
ix. Will design project layouts and run cable calculations
x. Will create electric diagrams for medium and low voltage
xi. Will make technical project assessments and due diligence reports
xii. Will create yield simulations
xiii. Will be the intermediary between project management and site supervision
xiv. Will be responsible for compliance with technical standards, regulations and norms
xv. Will be responsible for the technical documentation
f. Your background:
i. Previous experience (3 years or above) in the solar PV industry, preferable on consultancy. Additional experience on solar PV Project development would be positively evaluated.
ii. Good understanding of solar technology with experience in the review of main PV-related equipment (PV modules, inverters, trackers, and other main equipment in the BOS of a solar PV Project).
iii. Good understanding of typical KPIs for solar PV and high-level understanding of energy modeling for solar PV projects.
iv. Demonstrable experience handling utility-scale solar PV Projects with experience in PV Project design
v. Experience defining and reviewing provisional acceptance and commissioning requirements for solar PV Projects.
vi. Experience leading teams or projects, with a growth mindset
vii. Willingness to travel and stay as per requirement in India - IMP
viii. Proficient in tools like AutoCAD.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
