Position: Export Documentation & Logistics Executive
Job Summary
Responsible for handling end-to-end export documentation, shipment coordination, customs clearance follow-up, and communication with clients, freight forwarders, and CHA to ensure smooth and timely export operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify export documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Bill
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- LUT, ARE-1, and other export-related documents
- Coordinate and maintain correspondence with international clients regarding:
- Shipment schedules
- Dispatch details
- Documentation requirements
- Order status updates
- Communicate and coordinate with freight forwarders for:
- Booking shipments
- Freight rates
- Vessel schedules
- Container planning
- Shipment tracking
- Handle regular correspondence with CHA (Custom House Agent) for customs documentation and shipment processing.
- Ensure timely customs clearance by coordinating with customs authorities, CHA, and transporters.
- Follow up for shipping bill processing, EGM updates, and export-related compliance requirements.
- Maintain records of export documents and shipment data for audit and reference purposes.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as production, dispatch, accounts, and sales for shipment readiness.
- Monitor shipment timelines to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.
- Resolve shipment and documentation issues in coordination with clients and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of export documentation and logistics procedures
- Understanding of customs clearance process
- Familiarity with DGFT, ICEGATE, and export compliance
- Good communication and email correspondence skills
- Coordination and follow-up abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Qualification
- Graduate in Commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain / International Business
- Experience in export documentation and logistics preferred
Experience
1–5 years in export documentation, logistics, or international shipping operations
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
