Manonayan CDC is looking for a Music Teacher/ Special Educator who can use music as a medium for engagement, emotional expression, and developmental support.
This role blends therapy, creativity, and structured intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use music-based interventions for children with diverse developmental needs
- Conduct music classes: instruments (At least 1 out of Keyboard, Ukulele, Guitar) and/or vocals etc.
- Conduct individual and small group sessions
- Support emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction through music
- Collaborate with therapists and educators to align goals
- Design simple, structured session plans
- Track observations and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Psychology/ Special Education/ Music
- Moderate to expert proficiency and knowledge basic musical instruments(at least 1) to conduct sessions.
- Interested in nurturing talent of specially abled children and individuals
- Committed to work with children and individuals with Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities.
