We are looking for a Quality Executive to join our brewery team and ensure that all raw materials, brewing processes, finished products, and packaging meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality control, laboratory testing, brewing operations, food/beverage manufacturing, or FMCG, along with a strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, documentation, and quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the brewing and packaging processes.
- Conduct quality checks and laboratory testing of raw materials, wort, beer, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Monitor key quality parameters such as pH, gravity, alcohol content, bitterness, colour, carbonation, microbiological quality, and sensory characteristics.
- Collect samples at different stages of production and maintain accurate test records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and company quality standards.
- Monitor cleaning and sanitation practices across brewing, fermentation, maturation, filtration, and packaging areas.
- Identify quality deviations and assist in root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and update quality control records, laboratory reports, inspection checklists, and other documentation.
- Inspect packaging materials and finished products for defects, quality issues, and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Brewing, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support internal audits, external audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory and quality-testing equipment.
- Monitor environmental and process hygiene, including microbiological controls where applicable.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product defects, wastage, and process variation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory chemicals and samples as per safety procedures.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
