Role Objective
The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our properties, ensuring seamless guest check-ins/check-outs, and maintaining superior service standards. You will be the primary point of contact for guests and will lead the on-site teams to ensure the "Jaglax Experience" is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Relations & Experience
- Act as the senior representative on the floor, welcoming VIP guests and ensuring a personalized check-in experience.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues immediately with a professional and "solution-oriented" approach.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate service scores.
2. Front Office & Admin Oversight
- Manage the Front Office desk, including reservations, billing, and guest documentation (C-Forms, ID verification).
- Ensure that the property management system (PMS) is updated accurately in real-time.
- Oversee the night audit process and prepare daily operational reports for the Management.
3. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise the Housekeeping, Security, and Pantry staff during your shift to ensure all departments are aligned.
- Conduct "Daily Stand-up" meetings to brief the staff on arrivals, departures, and special guest requests.
- Handle staff scheduling and emergency shift coverage if required.
4. Safety & Security Oversight
- Coordinate with the Security Supervisor to ensure the safety of the premises and guests.
- Conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure all facilities (Pool, Gym, Common Areas) are in top condition.
- Act as the Incident Commander during any emergencies (medical, fire, or technical failures).
5. Vendor & Local Coordination
- Liaise with local vendors and taxi operators to ensure smooth guest transport and concierge services.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–6 years in Front Office operations, with at least 2 years in a Shift Lead or Assistant Duty Manager role in a 4/5-star hotel or luxury villa management company.
- Skills: Proficient in Hotel Management Software, MS Office, and handling financial transactions/billing.
- Communication: Exceptional command over English and Hindi. Knowledge of Konkani or a foreign language is a significant advantage.
- Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, able to work flexible hours (including nights/weekends), and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Mobility: Must have a valid driving license

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
