TREAT is looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our Maintenance Team. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, repair and servicing of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults.
- Repair and replace defective machine parts and components.
- Carry out fitting, alignment, assembly and dismantling of machinery.
- Inspect and maintain bearings, belts, chains, gears, couplings and other mechanical components.
- Attend machine breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of equipment.
- Perform basic welding, cutting and fabrication work whenever required.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Follow the preventive maintenance schedule and complete assigned maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records and report major issues to the Supervisor.
- Ensure proper lubrication and smooth functioning of machinery.
- Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices.
- Wear mandatory PPE while performing maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the maintenance area.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Management.
Qualification & Requirements
- Qualification: ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, gears and couplings is preferred.
- Knowledge of welding, cutting and fabrication will be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and factory environment.
Salary
Freshers: Approximate take-home salary of ₹13,500 per month.
Experienced Candidates: Salary will be decided based on relevant experience, skills and performance.
