Crystal Furnitech Private Limited is looking for a skilled Design Engineer to develop furniture designs, prepare technical drawings, BOMs, and support manufacturing operations. The candidate will work closely with Production, CNC, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure accurate and efficient product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for furniture products.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, CNC, Planning, and Quality teams for design implementation.
- Review and improve existing designs for quality, cost, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide technical support and CAD data for CNC programming and machining.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues during production.
- Support new product development from concept to production.
- Ensure design accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of CNC machining processes (3-Axis, 4-Axis, and 5-Axis).
Software Skills (Mandatory)
- AutoCAD – 2D Drafting & Detailing
- SolidWorks – 3D Modeling, Assemblies & Manufacturing Drawings
- Siemens NX – Basic to Intermediate CAD/CAM Knowledge
