Job Purpose:
Creation of error free Sales Order (from PO) in the shortest possible time for all the customers of Exports Division (Cables &Wires). This is in line with the overall vision of the company which is to provide world class service to its customers.
Main Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities
Primary Accountabilities:
- To scrutinize the customer PO and convert the PO to error free Sales Order within the agreed lead time.
- To check the SO for any errors before booking the same
- Coordinate with concerned personnel for completion of missing information for creating SO.
- To modify any existing SO based on requirement
- Coordinate with concerned personnel for customer creation
- Ensuring Responsible for updating of categories while dispatches such as dispatch details, prices, payment terms, ship to address etc.
Secondary Accountabilities
- Coordinate with salesperson for monthly sales order closure post-dispatch.
- Providing back up in absence of co-worker.
- Preparing MIS related to sales order
- Maintaining all the supporting documents of sales order for audit purpose
Requirements, Skills & Competencies
Educational Qualification and Experience
Graduate with 3-4 years of experience preferably in manufacturing setup in similar role
Functional Skills
MS Office (Excel/Word / PowerPoint & ERP knowledge of MM/SD module.
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of commercial aspects/logistics procedures.
