About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their sales career in a real, hands-on environment. You will receive warm, pre-qualified leads generated through our digital marketing efforts and work towards converting them into paying clients — giving you genuine closing experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound leads generated through our digital marketing channels
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and present suitable solutions
- Pitch and present our digital services in a clear and persuasive manner
- Guide prospects through the sales process and work towards closing deals
- Follow up with interested leads in a timely and professional manner
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date after every interaction
- Collaborate with the team to refine your approach based on feedback
- Share insights on prospect questions and objections to help improve the sales process
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn and develop a career in sales
- Confident, self-motivated, and comfortable speaking with people
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Basic familiarity with digital tools and platforms
Nice to Have
- Any prior experience in a sales, customer service, or client-facing role
- Interest in or awareness of digital services such as video editing or content production
- Exposure to CRM tools or sales processes
