Our Ayurveda Retreat is situated in the middle of a local village at the brink of Healing River. Guests from all around the world arriving at Vaidya's Ayurveda Village experience authentic treatments, medicinal plant-based diet and therapeutic lifestyle including yoga and meditation, according to their body-mind constitution.
If you are selected, we will guide you with course material on Ayurveda Yoga Therapy and give you step-by-step instructions on how to help our guests during their stay and assist in their yoga practice with this ancient wisdom. Based on our physician's primary diagnose results and our Ayurveda course materials, you will be able to start training our guests in one-to-one yoga sessions and develop your therapeutic skills in the field of yoga.
Your role as a yoga assistant at the retreat will be meeting guests for individual sessions (on their arrival and departure) to make their personalised yoga programs and assisting them during their morning practice including Sunday between 6.30-7.30 am. You will also get the possibility to conduct three 60 minutes workshops (6.30 - 7.30 pm) every day (except Sundays) which will help you to develop your leadership skills in a safe environment.
Apart from the evening workshops, individual meetings with the guests and assistance in their morning practice, the rest of the time you can spend for your self development and relaxation. During your free times read your favourite books. Or if you feel to go for a walk or bicycling through the village roads, that's also possible during the day.
Accommodation will be provided in one of the standard staff rooms at the retreat (shared with another yoga assistant).
If this is something for you, you are welcome to send us a message!
