Position: Bakery Salesman & Cashier

Job Summary
The Bakery Salesman & Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting bakery products, handling billing and cash transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the bakery outlet. The role requires good communication skills, accuracy in cash handling, and a customer-friendly attitude.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers and assist them in selecting bakery products.
- Provide information about cakes, snacks, sweets, breads, and other bakery items.
- Promote special offers and suggest additional products to increase sales.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Cashier Duties
- Operate the billing/POS system accurately.
- Receive cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments.
- Issue bills and receipts to customers.
- Maintain accurate cash records and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
Product Handling & Display
- Arrange products attractively in display counters and shelves.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management when replenishment is required.
- Ensure products are fresh, properly labeled, and displayed according to company standards.
- Assist in receiving and checking deliveries.
Store Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the sales area.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure counters, shelves, and display units remain neat and organized.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum SSLC/Plus Two qualification.
- Previous experience in bakery, retail sales, or cashier roles is preferred.
- Basic computer and billing software knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Honest, responsible, and customer-focused.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
