Job Purpose
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in achieving vehicle sales targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, managing the sales team, and ensuring smooth sales operations across assigned dealership branches. Regular branch visits are a mandatory part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.
· Supervise and guide Sales Consultants to improve productivity and performance.
· Monitor sales enquiries, test drives, bookings, deliveries, and retail conversions.
· Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
· Maintain compliance with Kia dealership standards, policies, and SOPs.
· Coordinate with Finance, Insurance, Accessories, and Service departments to ensure seamless customer service.
· Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and recommend corrective actions.
· Conduct sales meetings, coaching sessions, and product knowledge training for the sales team.
· Identify local marketing opportunities to increase showroom footfall and sales.
· Ensure proper maintenance of CRM records and timely customer follow-ups.
Mandatory Branch Visit Responsibilities
· Regular visits to all assigned dealership branches are compulsory.
· Monitor branch sales performance and provide guidance to improve results.
· Ensure compliance with Kia sales processes, customer handling standards, and dealership policies.
· Review enquiry management, vehicle display standards, test drive processes, and customer follow-up activities.
· Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions with branch sales teams.
· Identify operational gaps and recommend corrective actions.
· Submit branch visit reports to the Sales Manager/Dealer Principal after each visit.
· Travel to branches as per the approved tour plan or whenever directed by the management.
Qualifications
· Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing preferred).
· 3–5 years of experience in automobile sales, preferably with an authorized dealership.
· Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
· Good knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Other Requirements
· Willingness to travel frequently between dealership branches.
· Valid driving license.
· Ability to work on weekends and holidays as per dealership requirements.

· Customer Satisfaction (CSI) score.
· Branch visit compliance.
· Sales team productivity.
· CRM follow-up compliance.
· Revenue from Finance, Insurance, and Accessories.

Note: Branch visits are an essential and mandatory responsibility of this position. The Assistant Sales Manager is expected to visit assigned branches regularly and ensure adherence to Kia dealership standards, sales processes, and performance expectations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
