Job Description
Key missions of the position:
Site HR Leader will play a strategic partner to the Operations Team by working closely with Site Head to sets the direction for HR to drive a strong performance driven Organization. Serve as a part of leadership team at site level. Preforms HR related duties at the professional level while supporting business teams. Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, performance, and compensation management consultation; and talent management consultation. May carry out additional responsibilities to include organizational design; employee development initiatives and training.
Responsibilities

Establishes manpower plan along with Business leaders to drive recruitment strategy linked with locomotive service delivery.

Provide leadership oversight to ensure employee related services is delivered like canteen and transportation.

Drive employee engagement for Operations Team, including mechanisms for assessing engagement and feedback for action driving engagement. Formulate execution strategy for engagement across all employee segments (One on one, Skip level, R&R, Development etc.)

Facilitates and administers the performance management system including disciplinary actions and correction actions.

Ensure strong culture of openness and diversity of thought by coaching leaders based on 1x1 with employees and inputs from skip level meetings.

Works collaboratively and effectively with other HR support groups (Staffing & Recruiting, HR Operations)

Ensure 100% compliance on Labor and Employment matters.

Work with Technical Training SPOC and HR Site Leader to identify needs and implement Skill development initiatives.

Establishing the Employee facilities at the site , like Canteen, Transport , Office Supplies & Employee Engagement Activities.

Prepare the Employee Opex Budget & monitor expenses Actual Vs Budget.

Work with Other site HR & admin leaders to establish the best practices.

Work closely with the site leaders to obtain all the labour license & permit for timely start of the operation.

Ensure all the labour compliance made for all the sites including the Silliguri, as per the contract signed with customers.

Skill Development of the shop floor employees soft & work closely with the Technical Training team to technical skill development of the shop floor employees.
Required Candidate Profile
Education/Training
-
MBA / PG in Human Resource Management
Professional Experience
-
Minimum 15 years of experience in the HR function in factory management
-
Strong Communication skills.
-
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of human resources principles, practices and procedures.
-
Has a solid working knowledge of employment laws in India.
-
Strong attention to details, professionalism and demonstrated ability to work well with employees and management.

Usually works with minimum supervision.
-
Exposure if handling the multiple location & remote sites.
