We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant II to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Financial Accountant II at ICON, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support strategic financial planning.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Managing and overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinating and executing month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, and participating in internal and external audits.
- Developing and maintaining financial models and reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for various business initiatives and projects.
- Mentoring and supervising junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Your Profile:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Should be CA/CMA inter qualified.
- Should have 10+years of experience in AR Collections and Cash Applications.
- Extensive experience in financial accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and provide clear financial insights.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
