- Project Execution: Interpret and check technical designs, drawings, and blueprints to ensure all structural layouts are accurate. [1, 2]
- Site Supervision: Manage daily activities on the construction site and coordinate the work of subcontractors and laborers. [1, 2]
- Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they comply with industry regulations and project specifications. [1, 2]
- Safety Compliance: Enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and maintain a hazard-free work zone. [1]
- Resource & Material Management: Calculate material quantities, track usage to minimize waste, and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries. [1, 2, 3]
- Problem Solving: Resolve unexpected technical difficulties, design conflicts, or site condition issues promptly to avoid delays. [1, 2]
- Documentation: Maintain daily progress reports, site logs, inspection records, and "as-built" drawing updates
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
- Technical Proficiencies: Strong ability to read blueprints and proficiency in design/drafting software like AutoCAD.
