Job Title: Plant Head – Cattle Feed Manufacturing

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Head to lead our cattle feed manufacturing facility in Khurja, Bulandshahr. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a high-performing operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, dispatch, and utilities.
- Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining optimal efficiency, cost control, and product quality.
- Implement and monitor manufacturing processes for cattle feed production in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, environmental, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Manage raw material planning, inventory control, and coordination with procurement and supply chain teams.
- Monitor quality assurance systems to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and manage plant budgets, operational KPIs, and performance reports.
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate with senior management to support business growth and capacity expansion initiatives.
- Handle audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations Management will be an added advantage.
- 12–20 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head or Senior Operations leadership role.
- Prior experience in cattle feed, animal feed, poultry feed, agro-processing, FMCG, grain processing, or related manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of feed manufacturing processes, quality systems, maintenance management, and plant operations.
- Experience in handling large manufacturing teams and multi-department coordination.
