Role Summary
The Product Manager – Chemical Product Management is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of chemical products, including car care chemicals, workshop chemicals, oils, greases, aerosols, adhesives, and related consumables. The role focuses on portfolio strategy, product performance, compliance, supplier management, cost optimization, and revenue growth across regional and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management

Own the product roadmap and lifecycle (concept, launch, optimization, phase-out) for assigned chemical product categories.

Define product positioning, value propositions, and differentiation aligned with business and market needs.

Drive new product introductions (NPI), replacements, and localization initiatives.
Portfolio & Commercial Management

Manage product portfolio performance (revenue, margin, volume, cost, and market share).

Identify opportunities to expand the portfolio, optimize SKUs, and improve profitability.

Support pricing strategies, tender participation, and commercial negotiations.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, R&D, quality, and logistics teams.

Lead supplier alignment on specifications, formulations, packaging, labeling, and timelines.

Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and external partners.
Process & Operations Excellence

Improve and standardize product management processes to ensure on-time launches.

Identify and mitigate risks related to supply, quality, and regulatory changes.

Support automation, data-driven reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
