Job Title: Production Officer
Qualification: BSC/MSC/Diploma/B.Tech
Job Location: Ankleshwar , Gujarat
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Plant Operations & Batch Execution
- Supervise shift operations, including charging of batches and critical unit operations (Distillation, Crystallization, Filtration, and Drying).
- Ensure accurate, online filling of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Production Records (BPR) as per data integrity guidelines.
- Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, pH, flow rates) and maintain ideal cycle times and yield optimization.
- Identify raw material requirements per the production schedule and coordinate with the warehouse for seamless issuance.
2. Equipment, Maintenance & Safety
- Handle routine operations, line clearance, cleaning, and sanitization of glass-lined reactors (GLR), stainless steel reactors (SSR), centrifuges, and dryers.
- Ensure proper logbook maintenance (equipment usage logs, cleaning logs, and calibration records).
- Report mechanical discrepancies or instrument breakdowns promptly to the maintenance department to minimize plant downtime.
- Strictly implement EHS guidelines, ensuring the team uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adheres to safe solvent handling practices.
3. Quality & Documentation Compliance
- Maintain continuous coordination with IPQA/QA for in-process sample submissions and line clearances.
- Assist in investigating process deviations, incidents, or out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) explicitly and assist in updating production documentation when required.
