Job Description
Our organization is seeking a social media specialist with in-depth knowledge of social media marketing strategies to manage our social media accounts and elevate our brand across various social channels. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing innovative Marketing in Social media platforms that drive customer engagement, increase traffic, and contribute to our overall marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, You tube, insta and emerging social channels
- Manage and optimize social media accounts, ensuring maximum impact for each post
- Collaborate with the marketing team and cross-functional teams to create compelling content that aligns with business objectives and digital marketing goals
- Monitor social media KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve social media efforts
- Stay current with market trends, industry trends, social media trends, and competitor activity to keep our social content relevant and impactful
- Utilize social media marketing tools, monitoring tools, and analytics tools to refine strategies and track key performance indicators
- Engage with online communities, fostering customer engagement and building relationships with potential customers and target audiences
- Present social media initiatives and results to stakeholders, adapting strategies based on feedback and analysis
- Oversee community management to maintain an active and engaged social network.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a social media specialist or similar role, with solid knowledge of social media marketing tools and strategies
- Extensive knowledge of social platforms, social media tools, and the distinct roles they play in a comprehensive digital marketing strategy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences
- In-depth knowledge of optimization tools and how to apply them to social media content and strategy
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative strategies that maximize the impact of social media efforts
- Excellent organizational skills, technical skills, and creative skills, with experience managing editorial calendars and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing goals and business goals
Education and Training Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (in some cases, an excellent portfolio may be considered sufficient, regardless of education or training)
Experience Requirements
- Two or more years of professional experience managing social media accounts
