Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Learning
- Teach basic computer skills to students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.
- Introduce concepts such as basic computer operations, typing skills, MS Paint, MS Word, Tux Paint, Scratch and internet awareness.
- Develop digital literacy and safe technology habits among students.
- Lesson Planning
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and activities aligned with the school curriculum.
- Use interactive methods, games, and practical demonstrations to make learning fun.
- Lab Management
- Maintain discipline and safety in the computer lab.
- Ensure proper use and care of computer equipment by students.
- Student Development
- Encourage creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Assessment
- Conduct simple assessments, projects, and practical activities to evaluate students’ understanding.
- Maintain student records and report progress during PTMs.
- Technology Integration
- Support teachers in using smart boards, presentations, and educational software in classrooms.
- School Activities
- Assist in school events, digital presentations, and technology-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA or equivalent.
- Basic teaching qualification (B.Ed. preferred but not mandatory for primary).
- Good knowledge of MS Office, internet tools, and basic computer applications.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to teach young learners with patience and creativity.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
- Passion for technology and education.
