About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draughtsman to join our dynamic engineering and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating engineering concepts and structural designs into precise, comprehensive technical drawings and execution plans. If you have strong drafting expertise and an eye for construction accuracy, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Layout Drafting: Draft detailed civil and structural layout plans, floor plans, and site foundation plans.
- Sections & Elevations: Produce clear elevation sections, cross-sections, and architectural details for construction execution.
- Reinforcement Details: Prepare accurate bar bending schedules (BBS) and structural reinforcement detail drawings for concrete structures.
- Software Utilization: Use AutoCAD and other standard drafting software to develop, modify, and manage master drawing files.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and architects to resolve drawing discrepancies and incorporate site modifications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of proven drafting experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or consultancy firms.
- Bonus Qualifications: Prior working experience in the GCC region is strongly preferred.
- Technical Know-How:
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil/Structural packages).
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, drafting conventions, symbols, and detailing practices.
- Ability to interpret structural and architectural blueprints accurately.
- Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver quality drawings under tight deadlines.
