Job Description
Tutrain is looking for experienced, passionate, and patient Psychology Tutors to conduct online classes for school students across all grades and educational boards (CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge/IGCSE, IB, State Boards, etc.).
The tutor should possess strong subject matter expertise in Psychology, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex psychological concepts, theories, and research methodologies into engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Topics, lesson plans, and teaching schedules will be finalized through mutual discussion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive online Psychology classes for school students across various grade levels.
- Explain psychological concepts, theories, case studies, and research methods using student-friendly, practical examples.
- Assist students with school assignments, project work, doubt-solving, and exam preparation.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, summary notes, and practice question sets.
- Adapt teaching methodologies to match individual student learning styles and board-specific syllabus requirements.
- Maintain strict punctuality, professionalism, and a supportive online learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching Psychology to school students (middle school, high school, or senior secondary).
- Strong subject knowledge across different academic curricula (e.g., IB DP Psychology, Cambridge A-Levels, CBSE Psychology).
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver structured, highly engaging virtual lessons.
Tools & Technical Requirements
- Pen Tablet / Digital Stylus is mandatory for interactive online teaching and diagram explanations.
- Laptop or Desktop with a high-speed, stable internet connection.
- Functional webcam and a good-quality microphone/headset.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, digital whiteboards).
