Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing authentic Indian cuisine, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of Indian dishes including North Indian, South Indian, regional, and specialty cuisines
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Follow standard recipes and kitchen SOPs
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and ingredient requirements
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Expertise in gravies, curries, breads, rice preparations, and regional specialties
- Food presentation and menu planning skills
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
- Team coordination and leadership abilities
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred
- 3–8 years of experience in Indian kitchen operations
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in hotels, resorts, fine-dining restaurants, or specialty Indian cuisine restaurants
- Knowledge of North Indian, South Indian, Mughlai, or regional Indian cuisine
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
