Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth for our architecture and design firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients and industry professionals, and securing projects in residential, commercial, and institutional sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for architectural, interior design, and construction-related services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with property developers, builders, contractors, consultants, corporate clients, and individual homeowners.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, industry events, digital platforms, and strategic partnerships.
- Schedule and attend client meetings, presentations, and project discussions.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the design team to prepare proposals, fee quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and facilitate project onboarding.
- Track leads, maintain a client database, and manage the sales pipeline to achieve business targets.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate closely with architects and project teams to ensure seamless client communication and satisfaction.
- Represent the firm at exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in business development, preferably within architecture, interior design, construction, or real estate sectors.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Experience in proposal preparation, client management, and sales pipeline tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network within the real estate, construction, or design industry.
- Familiarity with architectural design processes and project lifecycles.
- Experience working with architecture, interior design, or engineering consultancies is preferred.
