Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers/ERP systems.
- Issue materials to the production department as per approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping of all materials.
- Coordinate with the purchase, production, and dispatch teams.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, delivery challans, and other store documents.
- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in a furniture manufacturing or related industry.
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software (Tally, Busy, SAP, or equivalent).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.
