Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and be capable of handling accounting software such as Odoo, Tally, or ERP systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
· Maintain books of accounts and daily accounting entries.
· Prepare and reconcile Bank, Cash, Vendor, Customer, and General Ledger accounts.
· Process purchase, sales, journal, and payment entries.
· Perform monthly and year-end closing activities.
· Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
· Assist in statutory and internal audits.
GST Compliance
· Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
· Ensure accurate GST reconciliation with books.
· Handle GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.
· Resolve GST notices and departmental queries.
· Stay updated with the latest GST amendments and compliance requirements.
E-Way Bill Management
· Generate and manage E-Way Bills.
· Ensure compliance with E-Way Bill rules and movement of goods.
· Resolve E-Way Bill-related issues and discrepancies.
· Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth documentation.
Statutory Compliance
· Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
· Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
· Assist during statutory, tax, and internal audits.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
· Monitor customer outstanding balances.
· Follow up for collections and reconcile customer accounts.
· Verify vendor invoices and process payments.
· Prepare ageing reports for receivables and payables.
Inventory & ERP
· Coordinate with warehouse for stock reconciliation.
· Verify inventory accounting and stock valuation.
· Work efficiently on ERP systems (Odoo/Tally or equivalent).
· Ensure proper documentation and accounting of inventory transactions.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of GST Laws and Compliance.
· Hands-on experience in GST Return Filing and Reconciliation.
· Thorough understanding of E-Way Bill Rules and practical challenges.
· Knowledge of accounting standards and bookkeeping.
· Experience in ERP software (Odoo preferred), Tally, and Microsoft Excel.
· Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.
· Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in Trading, or Distribution Industry.
· Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, basic formulas).
· Understanding of audit processes and statutory compliance.
· Ability to handle multiple assignments under strict timelines.
