We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Associate / Inspector to support Quality Assurance and Documentation activities for drone manufacturing and R&D projects. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality records, inspection activities, documentation control, SOP preparation, test records and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC processes and inspection methods.
- Strong documentation and formatting skills.
- Knowledge of SOP preparation and document control systems.
- Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and report preparation.
- Ability to maintain records systematically.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/R&D environment.
- Quality Assurance & Inspection
- Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection activities.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Monitor manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Assist in implementation of QA/QC procedures and process improvements.
- Ensure traceability of components, assemblies and test records.
- Support calibration and maintenance records of tools and equipment.
- Support after sales.
- Documentation & Record Management
- Prepare, maintain, and control quality documents and records.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and checklists.
- Maintain proper revision control and document numbering system.
- Ensure all project and quality documents are properly archived and retrievable.
- Coordinate with R&D and Production teams for collection and maintenance of project data.
- Support preparation of audit documents and compliance reports.
- Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, Procurement and Stores teams regarding quality issues.
- Support internal audits and customer inspections.
- Assist QA/QC team in quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper handover/takeover documentation during production.
- Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)
- Diploma / B.Tech / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electronics, Production, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, drones, aviation, or electronics industry preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems, and audit documentation will be an added advantage.
