Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities. This role includes planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with transport partners and warehouse teams, and ensuring that deliveries meet timelines, quality standards, and cost targets. The Operations Manager will track key performance indicators, manage scheduling, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk. The role involves resolving escalations, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and local regulations, and collaborating with sales, customer service, and finance teams to support seamless operations. The Operations Manager also leads and mentors team members, supports training, and helps drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operations function.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations, preferably in transportation and warehousing environments.
- Strong skills in planning, coordination, and workflow management, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of operational KPIs, inventory management, and basic budgeting or cost control.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with ERP, WMS, or other logistics/operations software systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and handle escalations constructively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset, with a focus on process improvement and operational safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi and adapt to a dynamic, time-sensitive operational environment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
