Job Summary:
Arcedior is seeking a skilled and organized Project Coordinator with a background in interior design to manage and oversee various design projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams, designers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed furniture drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents using AutoCAD.
- Understand client/project requirements and convert them into precise technical drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and vendors to ensure drawings are accurate and executable.
- Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission as per project timelines.
- Make revisions based on feedback from project managers or clients.
- Assist in project documentation, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material specifications when required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Support project coordination activities including site measurements, design approvals, and project tracking.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman or Project Coordinator in the furniture/interiors industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (must-have).
- Ability to create accurate furniture joinery, shop drawings, and detailing.
- Strong understanding of furniture materials, hardware, and construction techniques.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of 3D software (like SketchUp) is a plus, but not mandatory.
