Job description for a Sourcing Specialist in the context of Government Tendering:
Responsibilities:
· Tender Management: Oversee the CRM system to manage tendering processes, including tracking tender opportunities, submissions, and follow-ups.
· Data Analysis: Analyze tender-related data to identify trends, improve bidding strategies, and enhance success rates.
· Technical Compliance: Based on input received through bidding organization technical requirement, ensuring maximum technical compliance, the specialist has to identify minimum 2 OEM/Supplier in shortest possible time.
· Preparation of Competitive Chart: The findings / Quotation from the source has to be properly documented with a competitive chart against technical requirement. Specialist need to insert their final verdict in the report & submit in the system.
· Communication Skill: Excellent spoken / written communication skills required to maintain warm relations with the OEM/Supplier.
· Reporting: To generate reports on tender performance, success rates, and areas for improvement.
· Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, legal, and finance teams to streamline tendering workflows.
· System Integration: Integrate the CRM system with other tools used for tendering and procurement.
· Customer Interaction: Maintain relationships with government agencies and stakeholders through the CRM system.
