Job Summary
GoMilestone is looking for a skilled PHP Laravel Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should be passionate about writing clean, secure, and efficient code and should be comfortable working in an on-site office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Design and develop secure REST APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs, including payment gateways, SMS, email, OTP, WhatsApp, and other external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, API security, and best coding practices.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, project managers, and other developers.
- Prepare technical documentation where required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP Laravel development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
- Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with payment gateway integration.
- Experience integrating SMS, Email, OTP, and other third-party APIs.
- Good understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, JWT/OAuth, and secure coding practices.
- Basic working knowledge of AWS services, especially EC2, S3, and application deployment.
- Knowledge of Linux server basics and Apache/Nginx.
- Understanding of database optimization and performance tuning.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Redis, queues, cron jobs, and caching.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar tools.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
