Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Execution
- Execute daily stitching production plans
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Coordinate with Cutting, Embroidery, Quilting, Finishing, Packing, and Quality departments.
- Monitor order-wise progress and prevent production bottlenecks.
- Ensure smooth workflow from cut panels to finished stitched products.
2. Product Expertise
Responsible for stitching operations of:
- Comforters
- Quilts
- Bed Covers
- Duvet Covers
- Pillow Covers
- Cushion Covers
- Mattress Protectors
- Shams
- Throws
- Bed Skirts
- Bedding Sets
Ensure product construction complies with buyer specifications and technical packs.
3. Line Management
- Set up production lines for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct line balancing.
- Allocate manpower based on production requirements.
- Optimize machine utilization.
- Monitor hourly production.
- Minimize machine downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Quality Management
Ensure:
- Correct SPI
- Seam strength
- Stitch quality
- Appearance standards
- Measurement accuracy
- Thread quality
- Needle policy compliance
- Zero critical defects
5. Workforce Management
- Lead supervisors and operators.
- Conduct daily production meetings.
- Manage attendance.
- Approve leave planning.
- Identify skill gaps.
- Conduct operator training.
- Develop multi-skilled operators.
11. Documentation
Maintain Production Reports, Machine Breakdown Records, Rework Reports, Rejection Reports, Attendance Records, Skill Matrix, Daily Output Reports
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in home textile or bedding manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role overseeing stitching operations.
- Experience with export-oriented manufacturing for buyers in the US, UK, and Europe.
- Strong knowledge of bedding products
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
