We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Module Designer to develop accurate Building Information Models (BIM) for architectural, interior, structural, and MEP projects. The candidate will create intelligent 3D models, prepare construction documentation, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with project standards and BIM workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models using project specifications and design standards.
- Create detailed 3D models for architectural, interior, structural, and MEP components.
- Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings, and detailed documentation from BIM models.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, and project managers to resolve design clashes.
- Perform clash detection and model coordination using BIM software.
- Create and maintain BIM families, templates, and libraries.
- Update BIM models based on design revisions and site changes.
- Generate schedules, quantities, and material take-offs from BIM models.
- Ensure models comply with company BIM standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
- Maintain proper version control and documentation of BIM files.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture/Interiors/MEP).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Understanding of BIM standards, LOD (Level of Development), and documentation workflows.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Knowledge of Dynamo, Rhino, rivet or Grasshopper is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with quantity take-offs and BOQ generation.
- Understanding of interior fit-out and commercial office projects is preferred.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
- Experience in commercial, interior fit-out projects is preferred.
