Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3–4 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, modern Android architecture, and REST API integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build clean, scalable, and reusable code following Android best practices.
- Implement modern Android architectures such as MVVM/MVI.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers.
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Debug and resolve production issues.
- Ensure application compatibility across different Android devices and OS versions.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- 3–4 years of hands-on Android application development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with Jetpack Components:
- ViewModel
- LiveData/StateFlow
- Navigation Component
- Room Database
- Data Binding/View Binding
- Experience with MVVM architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Coroutines and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and networking libraries such as Retrofit.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Understanding of Android app lifecycle, performance optimization, and memory management.
- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of Dependency Injection frameworks such as Hilt/Dagger.
- Familiarity with Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on fintech, e-commerce, healthcare, or consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Knowledge of clean architecture principles and design patterns.
