The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, statutory compliance, inventory accounting, payroll processing, and timely preparation of financial reports. The role supports the smooth financial operations of Kedison Expellers by maintaining accurate accounts and assisting management with financial planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare journal entries and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Manufacturing & Inventory Accounting
- Maintain raw material, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods records.
- Reconcile inventory with production and stores.
- Monitor production costs and prepare cost reports.
- Coordinate with production and purchase departments for stock verification.
GST & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, and GSTR-3B.
- Ensure compliance with TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
Payroll & Employee Accounts
- Process monthly payroll.
- Calculate statutory deductions.
- Maintain employee reimbursement and salary records.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statement.
- Prepare Balance Sheet schedules.
- Generate cash flow reports.
- Assist in annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
Vendor & Customer Management
- Process vendor payments.
- Follow up on customer receivables.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
Audit Support
- Prepare documents for internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
- M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in Tally Prime or ERP software.
