Position Overview
BharatCares is looking for a passionate Project Coordinator – CSR Programs to lead the implementation of a community-based adolescent empowerment project in Nandurbar, Maharashtra. The role involves coordinating field implementation, strengthening adolescent leadership, engaging government stakeholders, facilitating capacity-building initiatives, and ensuring quality execution of project activities.
The ideal candidate should possess strong project coordination, community engagement, stakeholder management, and documentation skills with a willingness to travel extensively within project villages.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Field Coordination
- Lead day-to-day implementation and coordination of project activities across assigned villages.
- Prepare implementation plans, activity calendars, and field schedules to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with field teams, community volunteers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project milestones and address implementation challenges proactively.
2. Capacity Building of Adolescent Leaders
- Build the capacity of Kishori Leaders (Priya Sakhis) and Girl Champions on life skills, leadership, communication, health, and project themes.
- Mentor Girl Champions to independently facilitate life skills and awareness sessions within schools and communities.
- Monitor session quality and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Strengthen youth leadership and peer-learning mechanisms.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Community Mobilisation
- Conduct orientation sessions for ASHAs, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), teachers, Gram Panchayat members, and other community stakeholders.
- Build strong partnerships with schools, ICDS, health departments, and local institutions.
- Organize community meetings, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder consultations.
- Promote community ownership and participation in project activities.
4. Strengthening Access to Health & Government Services
- Facilitate linkages between adolescent girls and government health services, including Health Posts, PHCs, and other public health facilities.
- Coordinate with frontline workers and health officials to improve access to health information, referrals, and services.
- Support eligible beneficiaries in accessing relevant government schemes and entitlements.
- Track service utilization and resolve barriers to access.
5. Leadership Development & Community Participation
- Strengthen leadership, confidence, and advocacy skills among adolescent girls.
- Facilitate girls' participation in Gram Panchayats, School Management Committees, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and community forums.
- Support Girl Champions in implementing community and school-based action plans.
- Encourage adolescent participation in local decision-making and community initiatives.
6. Government Liaison & Partnership Management
- Coordinate closely with government departments at village, block, and district levels.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Panchayati Raj Institutions, ICDS, Health, Education, and Women & Child Development departments.
- Represent BharatCares during government review meetings, consultations, and coordination forums.
- Ensure alignment of project activities with government priorities and schemes.
7. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, field visits, training sessions, meetings, and beneficiary records.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports.
- Collect, verify, and manage project data and MIS.
- Document success stories, case studies, best practices, and impact narratives.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and donor reporting requirements.
8. Project Quality & Compliance
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to ensure quality implementation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor guidelines, safeguarding standards, and reporting requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying implementation gaps and recommending corrective actions.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in CSR, NGO, or development sector programs.
- Experience in adolescent development, women empowerment, community health, education, child protection, or community mobilisation projects will be preferred.
- Experience working with government departments and rural communities is highly desirable.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
