Roles & Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding available programs and career
outcomes.
Guide students in identifying their interests, skills, and career goals.
Support admissions by converting leads through effective counseling and follow-ups.
Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions to provide clarity on course selection.
Coordinate with academic and placement teams to ensure student career success.
Organize workshops, seminars, and career guidance sessions.
Maintain accurate student counseling records and provide regular updates to
management.
Handle student queries and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Stay updated with industry trends to provide relevant career advice.
Skills Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to counsel students and motivate them towards achieving their goals.
Good knowledge of the education/training sector and career opportunities.
Strong presentation and persuasion skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualification
Graduate / postgraduate in any discipline.
MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
Experience
2 – 5 years of experience in student counseling, career guidance, or education sector
roles.
