Job Title: Academic Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Coordinator to oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, and teacher performance. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality teaching standards, monitor student progress, and support the overall academic development of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor academic activities across assigned grades.
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and lesson plans.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers.
- Monitor student performance and analyze academic results.
- Support teachers in lesson planning, assessments, and classroom management.
- Organize training sessions, workshops, and academic meetings.
- Prepare academic calendars, timetables, and examination schedules.
- Maintain academic records and reports.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and school leadership regarding student progress.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Education or relevant subject.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- 3–5 years of teaching experience with at least 1–2 years in an academic coordination role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and school ERP systems.
- Knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum preferred.
