Hospital Compounder – Eye Hospital
We are looking for a sincere, responsible, and compassionate Hospital Compounder to join our eye hospital team. The ideal candidate will assist ophthalmologists in providing quality eye care, support OPD and minor procedures, and ensure smooth day-to-day hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ophthalmologists during patient examinations and minor eye procedures.
- Prepare patients for consultation by checking visual acuity, recording basic medical history, and measuring vital signs when required.
- Instill prescribed eye drops under the doctor's supervision and educate patients on their proper use.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and sterilize ophthalmic instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Maintain medicine and consumable inventory, check expiry dates, and ensure proper storage.
- Keep accurate patient records and assist with hospital documentation.
- Support patient flow, provide guidance to patients and attendants, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Eligibility:
- 12th Pass, D.Pharm, GNM, ANM, Ophthalmic Assistant, or any recognized paramedical qualification.
- Previous experience in an eye hospital or clinic is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills are desirable.
